Hearst's digital media unit hired Ives Advertising and Calfo Design Group to redesign a majority of their online titles. As Senior Art Director at Ives Advertising, Carrie had the opportunity to work alongside Hearst editors and art directors to shape new online identities for magazines like CosmoGirl! The CosmoGirl! site had to keep the attention span of the average pre-teen. Quizzes, fashion tips, celebrity news and pictures of cute boys all compete in one riotous online hub. Saturated colors set against a moody, shimmering background gave the site a rapid pulse that related well to its audience.
